I have worked for over 12 years in the helping professions. My background is in residential care and adult mental health in both the private and voluntary sectors and in primary care settings.
For the last 5 years I have worked as a sexual and relationship psychotherapist in the NHS and privately and in mental health.
I have specialized in working with individuals and couples to enhance intimacy, when people have run into difficulty often as the impact of loss and bereavement.
Current Particular Interests:
- Working transculturally (across the boundaries) with issues of race, background, ethnicity, sexuality, gender, religion, class, and differing abilities.
- Building sustainable self esteem.
- Getting your needs met.
- Before you get together – the skills for success.
- Recovering from and affair/infidelity/divorce.
- Issues of shame, stemming from trauma, presenting in subsequent mental health problems or sexual and relationship problems.
- Addiction and OCD issues.

- Supervision, Training and Consultancy for individuals, groups and organisations.

- Supporting ‘healthy’ organisations – providing employee assistance.

Working Times: Monday to Friday, 9am to 9pm, Saturday, 8am to 1pm.
